Sierra Systems' Ottawa Branch has a current opportunity for an Oracle
Portal Developer.

Skills
1. Minimum
a. Practical experience with
i. HTML and CSS
ii. XSLT
iii. JavaScript
b. Familiar with protocols like HTTP, WebDAV
c. Familiar with metadata concepts
d. Familiar with GoC CLF
e. Familiar with web content management concepts (e.g. publishing
workflow)
f. Good knowledge of SQL
2. Bonus
a. Previous experience with the content management features of Oracle
Portal 10g (see Tasks)
Tasks
1. Adding Content to Portal (Creating Pages, regions, items)
2. Classifying Portal Content
3. Enabling Approval Routings, Notifications and Security
4. Building Portal Pages
i. Using the OmniPortlet and Web Clipping
ii. Creating a Style
iii. Creating a Page Based on a Template
iv. Integrating Page and Portlet using Parameters and Events
5. Customizing Pages and Portlets
6. Implementing Portal Search
